Exciting D23 Announcements - Here Is Everything To Come!
A few weeks ago, the Disney Experiences team shared over 50 new, exciting announcements of attractions, lands, ships and more that will come to live over the next five years. We know it’s a lot to take in - which is why we are here to help with any of the destinations below!
Here is everything that was revealed during D23 Event 2024:
Disney Cruise Line
Setting Sail from 2027-2031: Disney Cruise Line fleet announced four new ships that will launch in the next seven years. This will bring the total number of ships docked across the globe to 13
Walt Disney World Resort
To Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park in 2027: Get ready for an exciting new adventure at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park! The Tropical Americas area will bring together beloved characters like Indiana Jones, plus the enchanting Madrigal family from Disney's Oscar-winning "Encanto."
Villains Land at Magic Kingdom Park: An announcement that has been anticipated! Construction begins soon in Magic Kingdom Park as the a dark side will take away the happily ever after. The villians are coming to cast a spell on you!
A Favorite Attraction Reimagined: Over in EPCOT in 2025, Test Track presented by Chevrolet will reopen to help you explore the past, present and future!
New Iconic Lounges: Two new family-friendly lounges will open in Walt Disney World Resort in 2025. These are inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean and Spaceship Earth.
New Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios: The humans will have the opportunity to step inside the “Monsters, Inc.” factory with Sully, Mike, Boo and other scary monsters as a new land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios will begin construction in 2025.
Nighttime Parade Debuts: A brand new Nighttime Parade will debut in Magic Kingdom Park on Main Street, U.S.A. in 2025. “Disney Starlight” will appear after the sun sets for an unforgettable experience!
Pixar’s “Cars” race into Magic Kingdom Park: Ka-Chaw! Start your engines as a new themed land with two new attractions and fun for the whole family begins construction next year.
Disneyland Resort
Pandora is coming to Disney California Adventure Park: An Avatar-Themed destination that is inspired by “Avatar: The Way of Water” is heading to Disney California Adventure Park.
“Coco” Attraction: Construction will begin in Disney California Adventure Park in 2026 for a special “Coco” attraction where guests can travel to the Land of the Dead with Miguel and his skeletal family.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure: A reimagined attraction is opening on November 15, 2024 in Disneyland Park! Tiana’s Bayou Adventure inspired by “The Princess and the Frog” opens this fall.
